Use this activity to enter criteria required for condition-based generation of PM actions, i.e., test points and parameters. In this case, you control maintenance actions based on the condition of the equipment, which is in turn determined by measurements of certain previously specified parameters (variables). In order to perform condition-based generation, you should define those parameters first. There are two types of parameters: cumulative and limit values. If it is a cumulative parameter, enter a start value and interval. It creates a maintenance line in the Maintenance Plan tab. If the parameter is a limit value, enter minimum and maximum values. When the condition limits exceed, a work order is generated based on the PM action. Limit values are minimum and maximum values for when the PM action is to occur.
Note: When accumulated condition-basedĀ PM action is set to Performed Value Based = Yes, user has the option of choosing which method to use to get the Value at Maintenance, in order to generate the condition-based maintenance forecast. This can be done using the Condition Forecast Configuration in the PM action/General tab. The DEFAULT value will be set as Last Measurement at Maintenance. It is also possible to define a Tolerance value for this type of PM Actions, which gives the flexibility to retain the original maintenance plan if the current execution is performed within the given tolerance. If a tolerance value is added in the work order site level, it is fetched to the condition line when Performed Value Based = Yes is selected or it can be directly defined on the condition line.
