Cleanup Past Due Spare Part Forecasts
Explanation
This activity can be performed using one of three methods:
- Cleanup Past Due Forecasts for All Spares Families
- Cleanup Past Due Forecasts for Current Spares Family
- Cleanup Past Due Forecasts for Selected Spare Part.
The first two methods are available from the MRP Spare Part Family
Forecast page. The third method is available from the
MRP Spare Part Forecasts page. Use this activity to dispose
of past due spare part forecasts based on the value of the Roll Flag for the
part. Whether or not a spare part forecast is past due is determined relative
to the day-month-year portion of site date for the individual spare part being
processed.
Prerequisites
- At least one past due spare part forecast should exists.
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- The system will drop or roll past due spare part forecasts for the selected
part, for all parts in the selected family, or for all parts in every family
based on the Roll Flag value.
- If Roll Flag is set to Roll out, all past due forecasts for the part
will be summed and placed on a forecast record of type Rolled on the site
date. If the flag is Drop forecast, all past due forecast records for the
part will be deleted.
