Create Project Cash Forecast Version
Explanation
This activity describes the creation of a project cash forecast. The project
cash forecast can be created in different ways:
- By creating the header first and then adding the forecast lines. This
can be done manually in Project Cash Forecast or by using
the New Project Cash Forecast assistant with the
Do Not Copy option. Cash forecasting can be done at
different levels such as sub project, activity and cost/revenue element.
- By copying from an existing Cash Forecast. The
New Project Cash Forecast assistant can be used to create
a new forecast by copying from an existing cash forecast. The forecast lines
with details (sub project, activity, cost/revenue element, amount and dates)
as well as the period spread values will be copied over to the new forecast
from the selected existing cash forecast.
