This activity is used to define the number of periods per Cost/Revenue
Element that the spread amount will be offset by, when copying the
cost and revenue spread amounts from project forecast items to a project cash
forecast.
If 0 or no value is entered in Cash Spread Offset
Periods, the spread will be copied to the same period in the cash forecast
as in the project forecast. If 1 is entered, the spread will be copied to the
period following the period of the project forecast spread. Only 0 or positive
whole numbers are allowed.
The value entered is valid for the company
but can be overridden per project by entering a value in Cash Spread
Offset Periods Override in the PCE Code Part
tab in the Project Setup Parameters page.
Cost/revenue elements must be defined for the company.
The number of offset periods is defined per cost/revenue element for a company and will be used when copying spread amounts from a project forecast to a project cash forecast.
