The cost of a resource plays an important part when planning resources for a project. Instead of entering a standard cost amount for a resource which usually has discrepancies with the internal price that is used in an actual project transaction, it is now possible to define the criteria that will enable you to plan your resources on a lower level. Once the resource criteria has been decided and entered for the project, the resource planning can be performed much easily.
Use this activity to enter such project criteria which would be used in a specific project.
If a resource criteria template has been set as default its criteria will automatically be copied to the project. There is a possibility to use another resource criteria template by selecting the Copy Template command in the Resource Criteria tab in Project Setup Parameters page.
Default resource criteria should have been entered in the Resource Criteria Template page.
The resource planning of the project will be managed according to the criteria.
