Estimate Budget Change

Explanation

This activity is used to add an anticipated budget change to a forecast line.

To add a budget change, select the forecast line to which a budget change should be added and click the Estimate Budget Change action command to open the Add/ Modify Estimated Budget Change assistant. For each budget change, a Comment should be provided.

Estimated Budget Change value can be either positive or negative.

Prerequisites

• The EAC Workbench must be in In Progress status.
• The connected Project Forecast must be in Preliminary status.

System Effects

• Estimated Budget Change column will be updated.
• Adjusted Budget This Forecast, Unplanned Cost, Estimated Future Commitment, EAC and ETC values in EAC Workbench will be updated accordingly.
