Use this activity to enter a person in charge for the inspection of a receipt and the recording of the inspection results.
The ID and the name of the quality control analyst are retrieved from the person record in IFS/Enterprise. You cannot change ID or name in this page. Changes must be done in the person record.
The quality control analyst is then entered on the purchase part (in the General tab in the Purchase Part page) and is displayed both at the arrival registration and in connection with several arrival and receipt transactions.
The person in charge for the inspection must be entered in in the Person page in IFS/Enterprise.
The person in charge for the inspection is entered as a quality control analyst. The quality control analyst is then available in the List of Values.
