Use this activity to enter service trigger information required to generate the recurring service program schedule that will recur at regular intervals. Recurring service program can recur either based on a calendar trigger or usage triggers or condition triggers or a combination of triggers.
Interval Type is selected from the predefined values (Day, Week, Month or Year) and the frequency of the program recurrence is specified in the Program Interval. A program can have only one calendar-based trigger.
If the recurring program is set to Floating Schedule - Yes, Day Picker Options will not be applicable and the program schedule for upcoming occurrences will be adjusted based on the actual completion date of the last Request that was generated from the program. However, when you run a recurring program with Floating Schedule = 'Yes', only one Request will be allowed to be generated at a time.
Enter values for Testpoint, cumulative Parameter (defined for the Program Main Object/ Service Object), Start Value and Interval. It is possible for a program to have multiple usage-based triggers.
If the recurring program is set to Floating Schedule - Yes, the Trigger Value for the next program schedule occurrence will be adjusted based on the last measurement at actual completion date of the last Request that was generated from the program. Here, the next Trigger Value will be calculated by adding the usage interval to the last measurement at service. However, when you run a recurring program with Floating Schedule = 'Yes', only one Request will be allowed to be generated at a time.
Enter values for Testpoint, Limit Parameter (defined for the Program Main Object/ Service Object), Min Value and/or Max Value, and Range Condition (Inside/Outside). It is possible for a program to have multiple condition-based triggers.
Min Value: Service is triggered if the latest recorded reading is less than the Min Value.
Max Value: Service is triggered if the latest recorded reading is more than the Max Value.
Min Value - Max Value: Service is triggered considering a range denoted by a minimum and a maximum. It is possible to trigger a service both inside and outside the range using the Range Condition.
'Floating Schedule' is not applicable for condition-based triggers.
When the program consists of a combination of above trigger types, it will be a 'Combined' program. There can be different combinations of triggers as below.
When a recurring program is run with combination of triggers, 'Floating Schedule' will always be applied and the program schedule for upcoming occurrences will be adjusted accordingly based on the completion of the last Request that was generated from the program.
A Recurring Service Program should exist in Preliminary state.
As a result of this activity, the recurring service program is ready to generate the program schedule.
