Enter Customer Stat. Groups

Explanation

Use this activity to enter common information for each customer group. The customer statistical groups are used for statistical purposes. Every customer you enter must be connected to a customer statistical group. You can define any type of group necessary for your company's needs. For example, you could create groups based on sales volume, domestic or international, internal or external, or based on specific types of businesses.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• A customer statistical group is created and is used throughout the customer order flow.
• The customer statistical group is available from the List of Values in other pages, e.g., Customer, to link to specific customer records.
• Customer statistical groups can be used in queries for sorting customers.
• The groups can be used for analysis and statistical purposes.
