When the customer answers to your quotation and gives you a negative response on one or several lines, you may note these quotation lines as lost. This can be done by clicking Status and then clicking on Lost Quotation Line sub command on the respective line or lines which opens the Lost Information dialog. You can open it from either the Sales Quotation/Quotation Lines tab page or the Sales Quotation Lines page. In this dialog you enter the reason why the quotation line was lost and to which competitor it was lost.
The status of the sales quotation line is set to Lost. Note that only released, rejected,or possibly revised, lines can be set to Lost.
The release of the demand of planning has to be reversed according to the supply code.
The status of the sales quotation line is set to Lost and will receive the information for loss. There is no change of the status on the quotation header. No further transactions can be performed for the line.
