This activity is used to create a material requisition for a site and an internal customer. The material requisition is then connected to the site as the permanent material requisition. Only one permanent material requisition can exist for each site. The order class and number of the material requisition are generated automatically. When a maintenance event is executed as a simplified work order, the permanent material requisition of the site is checked for reserved material and this material is issued to the work order.
To create a material requisition for a site and an internal customer, select New Material Requisition option from the Permanent Material Requsitions tab.
