Execute Distribution
Explanation
Use this activity to distribute selected documents. When
a document distribution list is created, an entry is created in the Distribution
page. You can then execute the distribution for the selected documents.
You can also re-execute a distribution in the Distribution History
page. If you just want to send the document to the responsible person you can
use the on-save distribution option from the Document Revision
page.
Prerequisites
- A distribution list must have been created.
- The entry must not have been suspended, that is, the entry must be in
Active status.
- An event action should be created.
- If you are using e-mail notification as the distribution method,
the appropriate e-mail address(es) must be registered.
System Effects
- Distribution of the selected document is executed.
- The entry is removed from the Distribution page and moved
to the Distribution History page.
