Establish Access Groups

Explanation

This activity is used to create a new access group and connect users to the given access group.

By using Establish Access Group page you can either create a new access group and connect the users you want or you can copy or import users to access group.

If the new users that are created in the system are to be connected to the access group, select the New users will automatically be assigned option. This will automatically assign all users to the access group as a batch job. A batch job may be performed every hour or each night as defined during installation.Note: When the record is saved, the logged-on user and application owner (IFSAPP) are automatically connected to the new access group. These users cannot be removed.

You can access Copy or Import Users to Access Group assistant by the option Copy or Import Users to Access Group. Following is a list of the copy options which are available in the assistant.
