This activity is used to calculate the total cost and price to be quoted for the quotation based on the work scope, defined agreements, emergent work and risks. This includes summarizing the resource hours and material quantities from all connected orders, translating these into sales parts and retrieving the sales prices for these, either from the defined customer agreements or the sales part base price from the site for which the order is defined. After adding the emergent work percentage and risk, the totals for the quotations are calculated, resulting in the total calculated price. Based on this total calculated price, you can adjust the price manually. The adjusted price becomes the price to quote. If there are changes made to the quoted scope after the last calculation was made, the Calculation Required boolean badge is automatically showed yes status.
For work order lines, If the work order is not an estimate, the Sales Part No should be added manually prior to releasing the quotation and Sales Part Desc can be edited to describe quoted service. If a service contract is defined on the quotation, an empty quotation totals line is created when the quotation totals are calculated.
