This activity is used to enter item certificate values, such as the work value, stored material, discount, retention, deduction and retention released. These values must be entered on the item level before the valuation is certified. Note: It will not be possible to change the values once the valuation is certified.
When certifying, the certified values cannot be higher than the latest released sub contract call off value except for items with the Rate Only calculation method. If it is, certification will not be allowed.
Note: It is also possible to enter summarized certificate values. It is more common to certify the application (for payment) at a summarized level instead of going through each item. The sub contract is used to define the level at which the application is to be certified, and to create a certificate for the application received. It is therefore possible to enter certificate values, such as the work value, stored material, discount, retention, deduction, retention released, and tax at a summary level, as well as to create a payment certificate. Once the total certified values for work and stored material are entered, the remaining certified values will be calculated by using the required data from sub contract default values.
