Add Supplier to Supplier Hierarchy

Explanation

A supplier hierarchy is a multi-level structure of suppliers represents a corporate structure. The hierarchy can be used for central agreements valid for a group of suppliers or for reporting and analysis purposes. This activity is used to connect a top-level supplier and subsidiaries to the hierarchy in a multi-level structure.

Note

• The top level in the structure must be a supplier and there can only be one supplier added to the top.
• You cannot use the same supplier twice within the same supplier hierarchy.

Prerequisites

• A supplier hierarchy header needs to be added.

As a result of this activity a supplier is added to the supplier hierarchy.
