Assign

Explanation

The Assign command available on an Unassigned Task will open up the Assign dialog which can be used to assign a resource for the demand. If there’s a suggested DSE Allocation available for the demand it will be indicated and auto filled in the dialog and Dispatcher can either accept the DSE suggestion or do any manual changes to it. If there’s no DSE suggestions Dispatcher can manually select a Resource and Allocation time.

Task Dependency information and SLA date constraints are also visible in the dialog to support the manual allocation decision.

Once the task is assigned, it will be disappeared from the Unallocated Tasks list.

• An active Dataset need to be defined for the desired company. Dispatch console has to be loaded with data mainly Resources and Unfulfilled demand lines. Resources must be connected to Resource Group, Competencies, Licenses and Regions etc.

• As a result of this activity unassigned Task will be disappeared from the list and will become available in assigned task list and on Dispatch console gantt.
