Define Scheduling Dependency Attributes for Work Task

Explanation

This activity is used to define scheduling dependency attributes between dependent work tasks within a work order. These attributes will govern the scheduling behavior of dependent activities in Planning and Scheduling Optimization when scheduling work tasks.

Once the dependencies are defined for the Work Task, the corresponding attributes can be done Work Task/Scheduling/Scheduling Dependency Attributes.

Prerequisites

Before defining scheduling dependency attributes, the following must have been completed:

• A minimum of two work tasks must exist within the work order.
• Dependency relationship must be defined between the work tasks under Work Task/Dependencies.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, scheduling dependency attributes between dependent work tasks will be defined. These dependency attributes are used to control the scheduling dependency behavior in PSO scheduling for the work tasks.
