This activity is used to define scheduling types. For each scheduling type you can enter the values which should be used as an input when calculating SLAs (service level agreements) in the Scheduling Engine. The values define the SLA curve used by PSO.
Below are a couple of examples of how the different values affect the curve shapes.
Start Proportion = 1 End Proportion = 0.9 Curve Shape = 1 will result in the following curve
Start Proportion = 1 End Proportion = 0.8 Curve Shape = 0.4 will result in the following curve
Start Proportion = 1 End Proportion = 0.2 Curve Shape = 4 will result in the following curve
Start Proportion = 0.2 End Proportion = 1 Curve Shape = 2 will result in the following curve
To perform this activity, the company must have been set up in IFS/Enterprise.
As a result of this activity, SLAs can be defined with valid scheduling types.
