Define Object Availability Exceptions
Explanation
This activity is used to define availability exceptions for equipment/service
objects. Exceptions to an availability can be limited coverage periods, extended
coverage periods or shut-downs.
- Extended Coverage - Could be for instance extending the shop opening
hours in the run up to Christmas.
- Limited Coverage - Could be for instance during limiting the shop opening
hours on Public Holidays.
- Shut Down - Could be for instance works where certain assets will be
completely unavailable due to operational requirements such no access to
the facilities for maintenance is permitted.
Another example could be
that assets are available but will not be used due to a lack of operational
requirements.
Prerequisites
- An availability line must have been defined in Scheduling detail
in Functional Object/Serial Object/Service Object page.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, availability exceptions are defined for an
availability which is connected to an equipment/service object.
