This activity is used to retrieve the map position of a location using its address fields. This can be performed in Location Addresses page using Retrieve Map Positions command on a selected record. Longitude and latitude coordinates retrived and those can be removed using Clear Map Positions command.
Map Positions should be added to the Service List for the business object type that is being defined on the Object Connections page.
After the position of a location has been successfully retrieved or transferred, position object created with a connection to the locations on the Virtual Map.
Position is inherited to any equipment object connected to the Location or to any work order entered for such an equipment object.
