Conclude Work Assignments
Explanation
This activity is used to conclude work defined on a Work Assignment. Work
Assignment can be concluded either by setting the status to Completed
or Incompleted.
- If the work defined on a work assignment is accomplished then it can
be set to status Completed.
- If the work defined on a work assignment could not be finalized with
the given resource within the given time frame it can be set to status
Incompleted and create another work task or work assignment to complete
the leftovers.
Prerequisites
In order to set status to Completed,
- A work assignment should exist where all the associated work have been
finalized.
- All resource usages related to the work assignment should be reported
in.
In order to set status to Incompleted,
- A work assignment should exist.
- If there is any work performed through the work assignment, the usages
should be reported in.
- Incomplete codes must be defined in Work Task Basic Data/Incomplete
Cause tab.
System Effects
- Work assignment will be either set to status Completed or
Incompleted.
- A journal entry is created for this event. Journal entries are generated
in the Journal sub menu found in the Prepare Work Order
and Conclude Work Order windows.
