This activity is used to enter complementary information on a work task, i.e., Item Class, Work Type and Priority. The work task can inherit an item class from the equipment object, part, object type connected to it. Or an item class can be manually entered or edited on the work task if necessary.
If the work task originates from a service contract for which a valid service level agreement (SLA) order template is defined, a SLA order is created and connected automatically to the work task. The SLA order is generated based on the SLA order template on the applicable SLA line depending on the work task priority or equipment object criticality or combination of priority and criticality, on the service contract SLA. If a work stage is not defined on the work task, the default SLA order line is connected to the work task and if not SLA order line corresponding the work stage defined on the work task is connected.
To connect a SLA order to the work task, search for the work task where the actual object is set as the equipment object registered in the service contract and enter the customer (for whom the service contract is defined) in Customer No field and service contract information in Contract ID and Line No fields found on the Work Task > Customer Information sub menu along with a value in Priority field on the Work Task page which matches the one in the service contract SLA line. Optionally, enter a value in Work Stage field.
