Remove Finally Posted
Explanation
When the work task transaction/cost line is marked as finally posted, it will
no longer be included when transferring work task transactions and no longer be
evaluated for reposting. Even if the work task is reopened, the finally
posted option is not removed. This makes it possible to reopen older work
tasks without starting a reposting process. The finally posted option can
be removed from the work task manually. Doing so will affect all connected work
task transactions of that work task.
It is also possible to manually set the finally posted flag.
Prerequisites
- The finally posted option must be selected on the work task (all
connected work task transactions must be finally posted).
- If the work task is in status Finished, it has to be reopened.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, the Finally Posted indicator is removed from
each work task transaction, cost line and work task.
- Work task transactions will be
included when transferring work task transactions to finance, and will
be evaluated if reposting is needed.
- Once the fhe Finally Posted indicator is removed, it is possible to set
the option by using the option Set as Finally Posted, found on
the work task.
