Set Work Assignment to Incompleted
Explanation
This activity is used to conclude work defined on a Work Assignment. If the
work defined on a work assignment could not be finalized with the given resource
within the given time frame it can be set to status Incompleted. It is
possible to create another work task or work assignment to complete the remaining
work. When setting the work assignment to incompleted, an Incomplete
Cause must be given in Incompletion dialogue.
Prerequisites
- A work assignment should exist.
- If there is any work performed through the work assignment, the usages
should be reported in.
- Incomplete codes must be defined in Incomplete Cause page.
System Effects
- Work assignment will be set to status Incompleted.
- The Assignment Finish date on the work assignment is updated
with current date.
- If the work assignment is in Work Started status the Work
Finish date is updated with current date.
- Work assignment's Allocation Finish date is updated with Assignment
Finish date.
- A journal entry is created for this event. Journal entries are generated
in the Journal submenu in Prepare Work Order
page.
If the Allow Multiple Visits option is selected for the
work task and visit chain exists, work assignments related to follow on
visits are removed as below
- If the follow on work assignment status is Assigned and not
sent to mobile then it will be removed.
- If the follow on work assignment status is Accepted or higher
or work assignment is sent to mobile, then it will be Canceled.
