Reverse Shipment

Explanation

To bring a repair line that has been released to shipment back to Reserved status, click Status and then Reverse Shipment. When performing reverse shipment, the reservation is brought back from the customer order to the repair line, and the customer order line is cancelled. The status is changed to Reserved and it is possible to perform required changes and/or updates. When all conditions are adjusted you can continue to process the repair line.

Prerequisites

• Repair order type must be Ship Back.
• Repair line must exist in Completed status.
• No transactions can exist on the customer order.

System Effects

The following system effects will take place as a result of this activity:

• The status of the repair line is updated to Reserved.
• The reservation is disconnected from the customer order and connected to the repair line.
• The customer order line is cancelled.
