Document folders are used to group documents. First open the Document Folders page from the navigator, then insert and/or update your folders. You can now connect document revisions to your folder by using the Documents link on the Attachments tab in the context pane (the Attachment Panel) below the page. You can register all document revisions belonging to this folder here.
The contents of a folder can be viewed by using the Documents link on the Attachment Panel from the Document Folders page. You can also view the contents of document folder structures by navigating the Document Folder Tree Views in the Document Folder Navigator page sub menu.
Use the Objects tab in the Document Revision page to view which folders a document revision is connected to.
You can also create and work with document folders using the Document Folder Navigator page. This page has a navigator which can be used to view and organize folder structures along with the documents they contain, which appear in graphical form and has drag-and-drop, cut-and-paste and copy-and-paste functionality available.
It is possible to delete a folder structure using the delete button in the Document Folders page or from the Document Folder Navigator. The folders and sub folders belonging to the structure are deleted and the documents are disconnected from the structure but not deleted. To delete an empty folder, you can use the delete button in the page.
Document folders can also be created/viewed from Document Folder page in My Documents. Use this page to enter information about the document folder. You can navigate to the parent folder of the current folder by clicking Parent Folder button. It’s also possible to navigate to the topmost folder of the current folders' folder structure by clicking Top Folder button. In the Sub Folders group, the immediate sub folders will be shown. You can create new/edit/delete sub folders in this group. Also documents connected to each sub folder can be viewed here.
