This activity is used to send a document transmittal to the receiver and to enter the information accordingly. A document transmittal can be distributed as a hardcopy, e-mail or through an FTP server.
Transmittal can be sent by using the Transmital Assitant or simply using the Send in sub-command list in Transmittals page.
To perform this activity, a document transmittal should be created and the document issues attached should be in Released status.
As a result of this activity, the document transmittal is sent to the intended recipients and the information is recorded in the system.
