Merge Lead

Explanation

This activity is used to merge one lead to another. Click Merge Lead  in the Lead page to open the Merge Lead assistant. First you select the master record, i.e. the lead to which the duplicates will be merged. If duplicates have been found, they will be listed and you can select one of the leads. If no duplicates have been identified, all lead records will be shown in the list. Then you select the duplicate. In the following steps you select what information to merge.

Prerequisites

Two leads must have been entered and saved.

System Effects

When you complete the merge process, all other records, except the master record, are deleted.
