Before you begin to create equipments, work orders, etc you have to define some common data. This is done in the IFS/Maintenance/Basic Data or in IFS/Service/Basic Data. The common basic data includes maintenance organization, parameters, actions, causes, performed actions, units, and connect sales part to maintenance organizations. This information is to be used throughout in IFS/Maintenance, and in IFS/Service Management.
