Use this activity to create a definition for critical work. Critical work is a definition of how different combinations of the parameters work type, object criticality and work order priority should mark work orders or PM actions as critical work or not. If IFS/Maintenance Planning Board (MPB) is used, the critical work value on the work order can then be used as a parameter when scheduling work orders/PM action occurrences with maintenance planning board. When creating a line for critical work, at least one of the three parameters (work type, object criticality and work order priority) needs to be set. An option on each line called Critical Work needs to be selected for the combination of parameters to be considered as critical work.
