Define Template for Work Progress

Explanation

This activity is used to define a work progress template for work tasks and work assignments. Work task progress templates are used to calculate the progress on work orders, based on the status of work order work tasks. Each template will contain a list of the valid work task statuses for which you can define progress as a percentage. The following table shows a list of the valid work task statuses and default progress percentages:

Work Task Status Cumulative Progress (%)
Cancelled 0
New 0
Under Preparation 0
Prepared 0
Released 0
Work Started 0
Work Done 0
Reported 0
Finished 100

The default percentage values for all work task statuses except Cancelled can be changed. When changing the progress values for work task statuses, the percentage values for the New, Released, Started, Work Done and Finished statuses must be in ascending order. For example, a progress template exists, with the following percentage values: 10% for Released, 20% for Started and 85% for Work Done. When changing the cumulative value for Started, you will not be allowed to enter a value below 10% or above 85%.

In the Work Task Progress table, all valid work task statuses appear automatically. Work progress templates for work assignments are used to calculate the progress on work assignments, based on the status of work assignments. Each template will contain a list of the valid work assignment statuses for which you can define progress as a percentage. The following table shows a list of the valid work assignment statuses and default progress percentages:

Work Assignment Status Cumulative Progress (%)
Cancelled 0
Incomplete 0
Accepted 0
Assigned 0
OnRoute 0
Waiting at Location 0
Work Started 0
Pending Completion 0
Completed 100

In the Work Assignment Progress table, all valid work assignment statuses appear automatically. The default percentage values for all work assignment statuses can be changed.
