Setup Issuing Agency and Enterprise Combinations

Explanation

Use this activity to setup the Issuing Agency and Enterprise ID combinations to use when generating the Item Unique Identification Code (IUID). The Issuing Agency Code represents the agency which issues the Enterprise Identification Codes. The Issuing Agency Code (IAC) is that assigned to the Issuing Agency by the registration authority for ISO/IEC 15459-2, registration procedures. An Enterprise Identifier (EID) is a code uniquely assigned to an enterprise by a registered Issuing Agency. According to above behavior, the combination of the Issuing Agency Code and Enterprise Identifier should be used to generate the IUID. In this page the user can define a combination ID for the combination of Issuing Agency Code and Enterprise Identifier. The combination ID is used when setting up the IUID requirements at Part IUID Setup and Project IUID Setup pages.
