Use this activity to configure what part of the parts demand history to use to compute the xx range forecast accuracy measure, the range settings dialog is available under the setup button and the Range configuration menu selection. Length is the number of periods to run the accuracy calculation over, offset is the number of periods to move back in time where the accuracy calculation should stop. Example lets assume a 3 year long history and assume monthly periods if we label the latest period (last month) with index 0 the second last 1 then the last period (the oldest month) of a 3 year long monthly history be index 35. Then the start index for the error calculation will be =offset+length and the end period of the calculation will be =offset. Default all measurements is set to the default ranges configured in the Demand Plan Server Setup only accuracy measures with different range configurations than the default settings is visible for selection in the Demand Forecast Client. The configured forecast accuracy measure will be available in the Field Selector for viewing and sorting in the part list, the configured forecast accuracy measure is also visible in the accuracy tab in the detail view and possible to select in the user defined tab as well.
