The employment type is used to categorize the employment for informational and statistical reasons. The employment type is linked to an employment period.
Examples of common employment types are: Permanent employment, Seasonal employment, Temporary employment, and Fixed-term employment
The employment type is used, for example, in locally developed features that deal with job security issues in times of personnel lay-offs, and to account for personnel demographics in the annual report.
