This activity is used to decide the degree of exposure of employee's sensitive data to the person.
During this activity you are allowed to define the additional name details which may synchronized or not between employee and person. The same will be considered for creation of a new employee or modification of either an existing employee or an existing person.
The bulk update option is avalibale, if there is a requirement to update exisiting information of person files as a bulk. And the bulk update options are based on the synchronization setup.
You can decide which person files should be updated after setting the synchronization setup or by using Update Existing Persons option. The person files could be with future, current or terminated employments.
There are no prerequisites
As a result of this synchronization setup activity the defined name details will be synchronized between employee and person, after an employee creation or modification of either an existing employee or an existing person.
Once bulk update process is initaited a background job will be executed and a Person Information Synchronization Log will be created.
