Define Payment Information Template

Explanation

Use this activity to define the company specific payment information rules. This is an optional activity and incase this is not defined, users will be shown all the fields when entering payment information.

This can be useful when there are requirements to omit unnecessary fields considering the company/region/country or bank requirements (i.e. Hiding bank account number and showing only IBAN for European customers) , setting up company level default values (ex: File Type, Purpose, Distribution etc.) and auto updating the employee property codes. (Ex: automatically updating EMPPAYACC and BIC property codes with Bank account/IBAN and BIC/Swift code values in payment information). If there are requirements to change the field name to make it more understandable for users, (i.e. revising the sort code as BSB Code for Australian customers) that also can be handled using the “label” field.

Also the number of active bank accounts can be defined so whenever users add more records, it will be always validated. Also the usage of Bank Details basic data can be controlled here. (i.e. If the company prefers not to maintain the bank related basic data in IFS, “Bank Information setup” can be defined as “Do not use existing bank details basic data”)
