Price elements are used for detailed part pricing of purchased parts in supplier agreements and there are three types of price elements: material, amount, and percentage. This activity is used to specifically enter the price elements of type material. The material price elements will contribute to the final price based on the proportion of the material defined for the inventory purchased part and the price for the material.
You can modify the description for any material price element and change the Base UoM to another UoM with the same UoM base (e.g. from kg to g).
This activity has no prerequisites.
As a result of this activity the material price elements can be used to define the material share per inventory part as well as the material pricing in supplier agreements.
