Use this activity to enter product codes. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person. Product code information is manufacturing related and is used in IFS Manufacturing to group parts in product structures.
The product code *, Common, is predefined when the system is installed. Product Code is an optional field in the Inventory Part/Classification section. By creating product codes and linking similar types of parts to the same product code, you can simplify searches.
