Set Default Location
Explanation
You can connect default locations to the inventory part. In this page, you can
connect the following location types as default locations on the inventory part: picking,
floor stock, and production line.
Prerequisites
- The current location cannot be an inspection location, shipment location, or arrival
location.
- A default location of the same location type for this part is not allowed
to exist in the system. (You can check this in IFS/Inventory,
Inventory
Part Default Locations page.)
- The location to be connected to the inventory part must have been entered in
Inventory Locations.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the default location is set and displayed on
Inventory
Part Default Locations page.
