Use this activity when you want to refresh the pre-postings for a specific fixed asset (FA) object. When a serial is connected to a FA object, inventory transactions will be created. If the posting type needed for a fixed asset rotable pool has not been defined as described in the basic data requirements for a rotable pool, the transfer to IFS Financials of the transactions generated by connecting a serial to a FA object will generate errors. If this happens, the posting type M151 should be defined. Then you should use the Refresh Pre-Posting feature to complete the transfer of the inventory transactions to IFS Financials.
As a result of this activity, the transactions generated by connecting a serial to a FA object will be transferred to IFS Financials.
