This activity is used to fetch the centralized part descriptions for Inventory/Sales/Purchase parts from the Part Catalog description. This gives the advantage of having one place to maintain the part description value for a specific part.
Using the centralized part description will also allow the possibility of having translations of the descriptions due to the user selected session language.
In the Site level enable the Use Part Catalog Description for Inventory Part, Use Part Catalog Description for Sales Part,Use Part Catalog Description for Purchase Part attributes.
As a result of this activity it is possible to indicate if the part description should be fetched from the part catalog description.
