Use this activity to add a new disassembly component to a specific shop order. I.e., a component part disassembled from a product during disassembly, repair, prototyping, manufacturing or remanufacturing.
Add a disassembly component by creating a new line with Type set to Disassembly Component on the Shop Order/Produced Parts tab. Enter the required part number in the Produced Part field and the quantity disassembled from one unit of the parent part in the Qty per Unit field. If it is not expected to recover all disassembled components, enter the expected scrap percentage in the Scrap Factor (%) field. Optionally, connect the disassembly component to the operation from where it should be received to stock.
As a result of this activity, a disassembly component is added to the shop order.
