Unschedule Resource Breaks

Explanation

Use this activity to unscheduled a Scheduled resource break. The status of the break changes to Unscheduled. Scheduling of a resource break can be done within Advanced Planning Board only. A resource break in Unscheduled state has no effect on the shop order schedule. Resource breaks are taken into account only when the orders are scheduled using Constraint Based Scheduling (CBS) Advanced Planning Board, not when using the Shop Order Infinite Scheduler.

Prerequisites

• A resource break in Scheduled state must exist.
• The site of the scheduled  resource break has to a Advanced Planning Board enabled site

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• the status of the resource break changes from Scheduled to Unscheduled, causing it to be removed from the shop schedule.
• the capacity which was booked by the resource break becomes available for scheduling other objects through the APB.
