Activity Check Server Status

Explanation

Use this activity to check if the IFS PSO (Planning Scheduling and Optimization) server is connected and running.

Prerequisites

• MSO solution uses IFS Planning Scheduling and Optimization (PSO) solution as its scheduling engine. Therefore, it is mandatory to have an online PSO scheduling server running to execute this activity.
• Finite Scheduling Basic Data must be defined for the site.

System Effects

• The server returns its status. There are only 2 server statuses.
  • Server is properly running
  • Server is not connected
• The server msut be online and properly running for the successful execution of MSO.
