Create Shortage Report for Shop Order
Explanation
Use this activity to print a report of the material shortages that have occurred
in manufacturing.
To create a shortage report, open the Shortage for Shop Order
Report dialog from the navigator and enter below values:
- Specify the Site
for which you want to print a shortage report. Enter a percentage (%) to
print for all allowed sites.
- Specify the part number interval for which you want to print a shortage
report in the From Part No and To Part No fields. Enter a
percentage (%) to print for all parts.
- Enter a date interval for the shortage report in the From Date
and To Date fields.
- Select a planner for whom you want to print a shortage report. Enter
a percentage (%) to print for all planners.
- Select the status of the shop order for which you want to print a shortage
report in the Status drop-down.
- If you only want to show shortages in the report, enable the Only
Show Shortages option.
- If you want to include all shortages on the report, regardless of
planned supply orders, enable the Available Inventory Only
option.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that the shop order be in the Released
status or higher. Material is shortage listed when a reservation request
could not be fulfilled for a component part with the Shortage
Notification option enabled on the Inventory Part page.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the system prints a shortage report for a shop
order.
