Mass Update Shop Order Structures
Explanation
This activity is used to update structures in all shop orders sharing a selected
part number, structure type, revision and alternate. You can update to the same
revision and alternate, or change to another buildable revision and alternate.
To mass update the shop order structures:
- Enter the Site, Part and Structure Type for which
you want to update the shop orders. If you want to update also released
shop orders, enable Update Released
Shop Orders. When disabled, only planned shop orders will be updated.
- In the From section, select the Revision and
Alternate of shop orders to be updated.
- In the To section, select the Revision and
Alternate that you want the shop orders should be updated to.
Check the background job for any warnings or information messages.
Prerequisites
- To make any updates, there must be at least one shop order fulfilling
the selection criteria.
- A mass update only affects shop orders in the Planned status and
if the Update Released Shop Orders option is enabled, also orders
in the
Released status.
- Mass update is not allowed for configured parts.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the material on the selected shop orders are
removed and then copied again from the structure. This is because the structure
may not be the same as when the shop order was created.
