Print Shop Order Work Instruction Report
Explanation
Use this activity to print a work instruction with or without a barcode number
for a shop order, or for one or several shop order operations. You can preview
your work instruction before printing it. Work instructions with barcode numbers
are used to report operations based on the barcode number.
The report can be printed using below methods:
- From the navigator, open the Create Shop Order Reports
assistant, add one row for each shop order and click
Next. Enable the Work
Instruction option and click Next.
- From the Order Report page, select the
line for the Work Instruction report, click
Order Report and enter the relevant report parameters.
- From the Shop Order,
Disposition Shop Order or Shop Orders
page, select relevant order(s), click Reports
and then Create Reports. In the assistant, enable the
Work Instruction option and click Next.
- From the Shop Order,
Disposition Shop Order or Shop Orders
page, select relevant order(s), click Reports
and then Work Instruction.
- From the Shop Order/Operations or
Shop Order Operations page, select relevant
operations(s), click Reports and then Work
Instruction.
- From the Shop Floor Workbench page, select
the relevant operations and click Create Reports. In
the assistant, enable the Work Instruction option and
click Next.
- From the Operation Guide assistant opened
from Shop Floor Workbench, click
Create Reports. In the assistant, enable the Work
Instruction option and click Next.
In the assistant you can select from below options:
- In the Output Type list, select Standard to print the
report without barcodes, or Barcode to print the report with barcodes
for operation ID and operation block ID.
- If you want the report to include media items connected to the
material, operation or tool work guidelines (direct or using an object
connection transformation), select Print Attached
Media Items. Note that Media Print Option must be
set to Print or As Attachment for the
media item.
- If you want to include documents attached either directly to the
shop order work guidelines, or referenced to the shop order work
guideline using object connection transformations, select Print
Attached Documents.
- If you want to manually select the operations to include in the
report, enable Select Included Operations and enable the
Include option for the required operations. When the report is
printed by selecting one or several operations, those will be
automatically set as included.
- Optionally, disable one or several of the Normal Operations,
Non-routine Operations and Rework
Operations
options to only include operations with specific work types in the report.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that a shop order must be created.
System Effects
- The system prints a work instruction report with, or without operation
barcodes for the entire shop order, or for the operations specified.
- The value in the No of Work Instruction Reports field in the
Reports section on the Shop Order and
Disposition Shop Order pages will be automatically
increased with +1.
- The value in the Latest Work Instruction Report No for the shop
order operations included in the report will be updated with the report
number of the generated report.
