Reserve Lot/Batch Number for Disassembly Component
Explanation
Use this activity to reserve a lot/batch number for a disassembly component.
A lot/batch number is reserved using the Lot/Batch Number
Reservation dialog. To access the dialog from Shop Order/Produced
Parts,
Shop Floor Workbench/Dispatch
List/Disassembly
Components or Operation Guide/Disassembly
Component, select the disassembly component and click
Lot/Batch Number. In the Lot/Batch Number Reservation
dialog, enter the the lot/batch number to reserve in the Lot/Batch
No field.
Prerequisites
- A shop order with aisassemblyisassembly component with the
Lot/Batch Tracking set to Lot Tracking or
Order Based in the
Lot/Batch Tracking section on the
Part page must exist. A lot/batch number cannot have been
reserved for the disassembly component yet.
System Effects
- A lot/batch number is reserved for
a disassembly component line.
- If the lot/batch number does not not already exist for the part, a
new record is created on Part Lot Batch page.
