Set Manufacturing Date
Explanation
This activity is used to set a manufacturing date on a shop order for a manufactured part
that is serial and/or lot/batch tracked.
To set the manufactured date, enter the required value in the
Manufactured Date field in the Settings and Options section. The
date that you enter cannot be a future date.
Prerequisites
- An open shop order must exist.
- No component on the shop order is allowed to have the Expiration
Date Origin option enabled.
System Effects
- The Manufactured Date in Part Lot Batch
or
Part Serial will be updated according to the date entered.
- If the part has a shelf life defined, the expiration date of the part
will be calculated based on the date entered.
